Who we are
This website, painresolutiontherapy.org, is operated by The Institute for Applied Strategic Therapy ("iAST," "we," "us"). We offer a certification program in Pain Resolution Therapy. This policy explains what data we collect through this site, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data.
What we collect and why
Enquiry form submissions. When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your email address, your message (if provided), and whether you indicated interest in the program. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. Your email is sent to our team via Resend, a transactional email service. We do not add you to any mailing list unless you separately opt in.
UTM parameters. If you arrive at this site through an advertising link, the URL may contain campaign tracking parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content). These are stored temporarily in your browser's session storage and included with your form submission so we can understand which channels bring people to the site. They are erased when you close the browser tab.
Analytics cookies. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, referral source). Google Analytics places cookies on your device. No analytics data is collected until you accept cookies via the consent banner.
Advertising pixels. With your consent, we use the Reddit conversion pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. This pixel is loaded only after you accept cookies via the consent banner.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
- We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We do not store payment or credit card information on this site.
- We do not load tracking scripts before you give consent.
Cookies
This site uses a cookie consent banner. Until you click "Accept," no analytics or advertising cookies are placed on your device. If you decline, the site functions normally without any tracking.
Your consent preference is stored in a cookie called cookie_consent for 365 days so the banner does not reappear on each visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies for this site.
Cookies used with consent:
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): measure site traffic and usage patterns. Expire after 2 years.
- _rdt_uuid (Reddit Pixel): tracks conversions from Reddit ads. Expires after 3 months.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for cookies or tracking at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@appliedstrategictherapy.com.
Data retention
Enquiry form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and for internal record-keeping. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days.
Third-party services
- Resend (email delivery): processes your form submission. Resend Privacy Policy
- Google Analytics (site analytics, consent required): Google Privacy Policy
- Reddit Ads (conversion tracking, consent required): Reddit Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare Pages (hosting): Cloudflare Privacy Policy
