The Opportunity

The Demand Already Exists

You do not need to convince anyone chronic pain is a problem. You just need to be the person who can help.

Most people with chronic pain cycle through treatments that manage symptoms without addressing the underlying cause. When you help someone get out of pain, they tell everyone. Their spouse, their coworkers, their doctor. Graduates build referral-based practices without advertising.

1.8 Billion
People Living with Chronic Pain

The demand already exists. In any city, thousands of people are looking for help that actually works.

Referral-Driven
How Graduates Build Their Practices

When pain resolves, people talk. One good outcome turns into five new conversations. Graduates build practices through results, not advertising.

45 to 60 min
Per Session

Sessions are conversational. No equipment, no physical contact. You need a quiet space and the training. That is it.

Who This Is For

You Do Not Need a Clinical Degree. You Need a Reason to Start.

PRT practitioners come from every profession. What matters is that you want a skill that changes people's lives and pays for itself.

You want meaningful work.

You are tired of clocking in for something that does not matter. You want to sit across from someone and help them get out of pain. This is work with a direct, visible outcome.

You want a real profession.

Not a side hustle. A practice with clients, referrals, and income you control. You set your schedule, your rates, and your client load from the start.

You can learn alongside your current job.

The program fits into 3 to 6 months. You keep working while you train. You do not have to make a financial leap before you have finished your certification.

You are ready to start something new.

Nurses, teachers, accountants, tradespeople, caregivers. Every background brings something useful to this work. No prior clinical experience is required.

What Graduates Say

From Career Change to Certified Practitioner

"I spent fifteen years in nursing and never felt like I was actually solving anything. Within six months of certifying I had a waiting list. This is the most meaningful work I have ever done."
Sarah M. Former Registered Nurse, now PRT Practitioner
"I was a secondary school teacher for twelve years. I had no medical background whatsoever. The program taught me everything. My first client had suffered for seven years. She was pain-free after eight sessions."
Daniel K. Former Teacher, now PRT Practitioner
"I kept my accounting job until month four of the program. By the time I certified, I already had three paying clients from referrals. I handed in my notice two months later."
Rachel T. Former Accountant, now PRT Practitioner

The Research

Grounded in Peer-Reviewed Science

The body of evidence supporting this approach is published, peer-reviewed, and growing. Chronic pain often persists through learned neural pathways. Those pathways can change. This is the science PRT is built on.

The method does not require you to explain this to every client. The curriculum gives you the understanding, so you can apply it with confidence.

Review the Science

Published and Peer-Reviewed

The research supporting this approach is published in peer-reviewed journals and continues to grow. The science is not contested; it is simply not widely taught.

Observable Outcomes

Most clients see measurable progress within a handful of sessions. The results are consistent and repeatable across practitioners who have completed the certification.

No Physical Contact Required

The entire method works through conversation. No physical contact, no equipment, no office requirements. This is a practice you can run from anywhere.

The Institute

Built by the Institute for Applied Strategic Therapy

iAST developed the PRT certification program. The institute trains practitioners in evidence-based, conversation-driven approaches that produce measurable client outcomes.

The program reflects years of clinical work and teaching. Every module is designed to get you competent, confident, and ready to practice. You are learning from people who do this work, not from people who lecture about it.

Common Questions

What You Want to Know Before Enquiring

No. Graduates come from nursing, teaching, accounting, trades, caregiving, and many other professions. The program teaches everything from the ground up. What matters is that you are willing to learn the method and apply it seriously. Your professional background does not determine your ability to do this work well.

Most people complete it in 3 to 6 months while continuing their current work. The pace is self-directed. The supervised practice component in Module 7, where you work with real clients, runs on your timeline. You have twelve months of curriculum access from the day you enroll.

A session runs 45 to 60 minutes. It is entirely conversational. There is no physical contact and no equipment. You and the client work through the protocol together, in person or online. The session is structured, but it does not feel clinical. Most clients describe it as the first time someone has really understood what they are experiencing.

PRT is designed for chronic pain where the underlying mechanism is psychosomatic: pain that persists without a clear structural explanation, or where the structural findings do not account for the level or pattern of pain. This includes back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, IBS, and other presentations where the nervous system's learned pain response is driving the experience.

Yes. Sessions are conversational and require no physical contact, so online delivery works well. Many graduates work with clients entirely remotely. A stable internet connection and a quiet space are all you need.

A certified trainer answers your case questions directly by email throughout the program. This is not a chatbot or a forum. You ask a question about a real case situation and a trained practitioner responds. You also have access to the full case study library and Rapport7, the iAST platform with 1,500 plus articles, directives, and tools.

Module 8 covers this in depth. Most graduates take on their first client within weeks of completing the program. The referral model is built into how PRT works: when clients get results, they send people. Word of mouth from one resolved case is worth more than any advertising. The module gives you the practical steps to get from certification to a paying client without waiting.

PRT certification is not a medical or clinical license. You are trained to work with psychosomatic pain through structured conversation: helping clients understand the mechanism behind their experience and working through the resolution process with them. You do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatment.

What you may or may not practice professionally depends on your existing credentials, your country, and your region. It is your responsibility to understand and work within your permitted scope under local law. If you have specific questions about how this applies to your situation, raise them in your initial consultation.

The program is developed and delivered by the Institute for Applied Strategic Therapy. It is not currently accredited by a third-party body and does not carry CE credit. We are working with educational partners toward formal accreditation, and graduates will receive updated documentation when that becomes available.

If CE credit or formal recognition is a requirement for your situation, this program may not yet meet that need. We would rather you know this upfront than find out after enrolling.

Tuition is $1,999. This includes twelve months of curriculum access, practitioner certification, personal trainer guidance throughout the program, two years of Rapport7 access, and the full case study library. Individual phone consultations are available at $175 per session for those who want focused support on a specific case.

The current tuition reflects early enrollment pricing. The price will be going up. If you are considering this, enrolling now locks in the current rate.

Tuition is non-refundable. Each enrolled student receives personal trainer guidance, which is allocated from the time of enrollment. Please review the program materials thoroughly and bring any open questions to the initial consultation before enrolling. We want you to be certain before you commit.

We review every submission and respond within a few business days by email. If your background and goals look like a good fit, we follow up to discuss the program further. If you would prefer to speak with a trainer directly, a WhatsApp voice call can be arranged. It is not a sales call; it is a conversation to make sure this is the right fit for you. Enrollment happens after that exchange.
